Těšín Silesia is the place with natural reserves and places of historical importance.
The primeval forest of Mionší is the largest complex of naturally occurring fir-and-beech-tree forest of the Carpathian type in the Czech Republic. The trail is only seasonal: it is open from 1 June to 15 September.

The archeological park in Chotěbuz-Podobora is one of the best documented archaelogical sites in the Czech Republic.
Havířov – the timbered house in Havířov is one of the oldest timbered folk house in the region. It was built in 1781.
Albrechtice – the wooden church of St. Peter and Paul from the year 1766
Petrovice u Karviné – the wooden church of the Ascension of Christ from the year 1739. This is the only wooden church in the Czech Republic with preserved original paintings.
